Tarot: Getting to know the cards with Galaxy Tarot

Galaxy Tarot Android App

I love this little app!

Most tarot decks come with a handy little leaflet giving you brief explanations of the cards that can be useful for getting started. There are also a whole host of resources, books and websites that can help, I've used a few over the years but I have found that it is very easy to become reliant on these rather than develop my own instinctive interpretations.

I recently downloaded the Galaxy Tarot app for a bit of fun but I have actually found it useful for getting to grips with the meanings of the cards. At odd moments of the day I can let it randomly select a card for me to contemplate then compare Galaxy's explanations with my own gut feeling. I'm definitely getting to know the standard meanings of the cards but it is here where the disadvantage lies, I am getting to know the Rider-Waite deck well but not the Shadowscape deck that I have. Not a problem for Galaxy Tarot but may be one for me!

Never mind, Rome wasn't built in a day and the path to learning should be as enjoyable as the goal itself and I'm definitely enjoying using this simple app.

I don't do sponsored posts (as nobody's asked me yet - please do, I like freebies), this is just my honest feelings about a product that I've been using for the past month. It's a free download available through google play .
